Music and the Subconscious

The link between music and environment is a strong one. Years ago I worked for what was arcanely referred to as a ‘Multimedia Studio’. As far as work environments go it was bitter sweet, with a solid team, varied and interesting work and ridiculously long hours (that verged on slave labour).

It was also where I started listening to motion picture soundtracks while I worked.

More often than not, the OST’s in question were for science fiction films and me being me, found a theme tune that was often played as my ‘start the day’ track.

In a word, Klingons.
